I’ve been a bit quiet lately because I’ve got bloggers block. Actuallymaybe bloggers block isn’t exactly the right word, because I”ve got heaps of cool things that I want to blog about but nothing that has me inspired enough to actually blog about it. I’ve put that down to the busyness of my life after the floods that have affected my family in Victoria, I blogged about them here.  

The clean up from the floods however did give me some amusement, check out the photo bellow of the damage to the roads. The water had just washed the road across a little bit, it made me laugh and i kind of wish it could have stayed that way.

Anyway things are slowly starting to settle down now after all of this, so I’m hoping to become more inspired again, break my block and get back onto my regular posting.

I had a friend over to dinner last night, and I wowed her with this wonton soup that I made from scratch.  

It’s really easy I got it from the Donna Hay website, a lot of her stuff is really easy, and without too many ingredients. Chilli Chicken Wonton soup, without the coriander for me becasue I hate the stuff.  Let me tell you it’s pretty tasty! Give it a try.

Except when I do.. but as a rule Saturday and Sunday are out as far as blogging days go. I mean you have better things to do than be on a computer checking my blog and well, I like to have the weekends free from computer land so I can get out and enjoy life, and most of the time while doing that i’ll be finding things for my blog

It’s a day late, but Merry Christmas! How did your day go? We had a lovely one, picnic in the park for lunch then the traditional Christmas dinner. Lots of fun, lots of laughs

I have to share with you the ripper of a present that Santa (Aka my sister) got for me this year,

Yep that’s right it’s a stitch ripper or quick unpick, but it has a cute little nesting doll on the top. How absolutely lovely is it!! They purchased it from a shop in the Dandenongs (that’s as much information as I can give you), but I have had a search around the interwebs and i have found you can get them at Mac Pelican in Hawthorn Vic, and they have numbers to call if your not from Melbourne.

I might just have to check out this shop as well, not I know they sell cool things such as this!
